New Blue Jays Logo?

For a while, I was nervous about this. There was talk of red, and a history of awful attempts at looking good (see: logos and uniforms, Toronto Blue Jays, 1997-2011). Now, it seems that we are going to be treated to a modernized version of the 1993 uniform set. My nervousness has turned to optimism.

Sportsnet is reporting that the Jays will release their new look on November 18.

On SportsLogos.net, someone made this prototype, using the invitation font on Sportsnet and a "leaked" logo from a couple of months ago:

I think it's safe to look forward to November 18, when they just might once again be the Blue Jays.
